Evidence 1 shows feedback from one of my assessments last semester stating I should cite what papers I used to gather information to create a definition. This was something I didn't know and something very easy to do better next time. For an essay this semester I ensured I cited my definitions, as you can see from evidence 2. I learnt this from looking at other research papers and using the citation and reference guide in the thinking and writing psychological guide. Using APA citations and references has been completely new to me since starting university, I continue to improve and expand my knowledge in using these by referring back to the citation and reference guide and using Purdue OWL for my present and future assessments.

Evidence 3 shows a snip-it from a reflection from an assessment last semester, stating I needed to create a concise essay plan and keep referring back to it when writing the essay to improve the structure and flow of my writing. For an essay-based assessment this semester I used a new learning material called Coggle to brainstorm my ideas and past studies to use for evidence that I had come across. From this, I then started to narrow down the main points and made natural connections between paragraphs easier than before. I feel like my writing flowed smoother but I still find this difficult and need to improve in this area. Next time I feel I will brainstorm ideas as before, then concisely write the main point of the paragraph in one sentence and slowly build up the paragraph from there, to help me keep the word count down and make my writing more concise.
